Logos Students Paint 16th Annual Mural for City of St. Louis
Logos School has partnered with Trailnet to create a mural for the City of St. Louis. The mural is located on the Laclede Power Building, which is north of the Landing at the beginning of the Trailnet Riverfront Bike Trail. It is a huge honor for Logos School to be able to make an impact on such a highly visible part of Trailnet, located near a recently completed park featuring Bob Cassilly sculptures. Due to the visibility of the area, this prominent mural will be seen by thousands of St. Louisans and visitors alike.
This year’s mural image features a river scene in which river plants and animals come to life on a grand scale. It is exceptionally colorful and engaging and enhances the experience of viewing the Mississippi River, which can be seen at a distance.
This marks the sixteenth year Logos School has partnered with an area organization to design and produce a community mural. “Logos School has a strong commitment to community service and to the promotion of student creativity and productivity, while increasing student self-esteem through innovative therapies and programs,” said David C. Thomas, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer of Logos School.
