Enrollment Process
Initial Interview
Tour the school and visit with the Director of Admissions. Logos School gives you additional information about the school and gathers information from you regarding your adolescent.
Financial Conference:
During a confidential meeting with Logos’ Business Manager, you will discuss a full fee schedule and financial aid information. To request general information, please email Stephanie Kolker at skolker.
Social History:
This is a confidential question and answer session with the Director of Admissions to gather information about your adolescent and your family background. The Director of Admissions will meet with both parents (1-1½ hours) and your adolescent (1 hour) separately. A non-refundable fee of $235 is payable at the time of the social history.
Release Forms:
Prior to enrolling your adolescent in Logos School, we need to obtain academic and medical/psychiatric records. We would appreciate any additional information/records which you feel would be helpful in successfully assisting your adolescent.
Enrollment:
The Admissions Committee usually determines if Logos is an appropriate educational choice for your adolescent within 48 hours of your tour and confidential social history interview. Upon acceptance into Logos School, you will receive a phone call from the Director of Admissions. All pertinent information regarding school requirements, Parent Support Group, parent/teacher conferences, your adolescent’s first day of school, etc. will be dicussed at this time.
In the event your adolescent is not accepted into Logos School, the Director of Admissions will discuss alternatives and make referrals to other possible resources more appropriate for your adolescent.
Student Testing & Therapist Placement:
Academic tests are given as needed to students prior to assigning an academic schedule. In addition to the social history and academic background, test scores will be used to place your adolescent into appropriate classes and with the appropriate Adolescent Therapist.
Parent Orientation:
This is offered monthly for new parents to become more acquainted with Logos’ policies, procedures, and philosophy. At orientation, parents will receive the parent handbook.
