Logos School Launches National Search for Next Head of School

Logos School is entering an exciting new chapter. With deep gratitude for the remarkable leadership of Dr. Kathy Fenger — whose connection to Logos spans student, teacher, and Head of School — the Board of Trustees has officially launched a national search for the next Head of School, with the new leader beginning July 1, 2027.

This transition marks an important moment for our community: a time to honor our history, celebrate our mission, and look ahead with clarity and purpose.

Since 1970, Logos School has served as a lifeline for adolescents whose needs are not met in traditional school settings. Our integrated academic and therapeutic model supports students in Grades 6–12 who are bright, capable, and eager to learn — but who need a different kind of environment to feel safe, understood, and ready to grow.

At Logos, therapeutic support is not an add-on. It is woven into every part of the school day. Students work with dedicated therapists, participate in individual and group therapy, and benefit from a highly coordinated team of educators, clinicians, and families working together.

This deeply relational, trauma-informed approach is what makes Logos unique — and what makes leadership here so meaningful.
