Alexis' Story

I’ll never forget it. It was a sunny but chilly day in early November 2022, and our family was in crisis. We had heard about Logos from a variety of sources—Special School District, Nipher Middle School, family, and friends—and decided to attend the open house.

I was weepy and exhausted when we arrived, but we were greeted by Marasia and others with such warmth that my anxiety immediately eased. I noticed a banner in the school lobby that read, “Logos Saves Lives.” I didn’t realize how powerful and true that message was until a year later, when my son’s life was saved by Logos.

By the end of the tour, I just knew Logos was the answer to our prayers and that we would do whatever it took to make it our son’s next step in his academic journey. Fast forward to his sophomore year—he is happier, healthier, and thriving in ways we couldn’t have imagined when we first walked through those doors.

It’s absolutely true: Logos saves lives.
