Monte's Story

"Logos School has done so much for me. If it wasn’t for the staff supporting and encouraging us to follow our goals I would not be here right now.
They created a safe space for us to grow and become our true inner selves. The school has some of the most creative and talented students and I wouldn’t have chosen another school to attend. So to say I wouldn’t be here without Logos is an understatement and it will always be home."
-Monte Frost
Logos School Alumnus, Class of 2018
Monte Frost joined Logos School alongside a group of students from another program and completed both his middle school and high school education within Logos’ supportive, trauma-responsive environment. During his time at Logos, Monte discovered his inner strength and the power of persistence. “I’ve learned that I’m capable of achieving anything I set my mind to,” he reflects. “No matter the challenge, with focus and self-belief, I can overcome obstacles and reach my goals.”
One of the most difficult challenges Monte faced was being judged for treating others with kindness. “People told me I was too nice,” he shares. “But I’ve learned not to let negativity change who I am. Rising above it with confidence and compassion is the best response.”
Monte’s proudest accomplishment at Logos was the personal growth he achieved—growth that laid the foundation for his future success. Since graduating, he has continued to build on that foundation in remarkable ways. Monte is the founder of Dance Dynasty at Southeast Missouri State University, a McNair Scholar (2023–2024), and a proud member of Delta Phi Upsilon Fraternity, Inc.
When reflecting on his favorite memories at Logos, Monte fondly recalls prom nights, family events, and most of all, the deep friendships he formed—memories that still inspire him today.
