Logos School is a private, trauma-responsive therapeutic day school serving students in grades 6–12. We provide a structured yet flexible environment where students who have struggled in traditional classrooms can find the support they need to grow academically, emotionally, and socially.

Our students may face challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, school refusal, ADHD, or emotional dysregulation. Many have not been successful in traditional schools and benefit from smaller class sizes, individualized support, and integrated therapy services.

At Logos, learning and healing go hand in hand. Our trauma-responsive approach ensures students receive academic instruction alongside weekly individual therapy, group counseling, and real-time behavioral and emotional support. With a 3:1 student-to-staff ratio, every student receives personalized care.

Discover our unique individualized academic program

Each student receives a minimum of one hour of individual therapy and two hours of group therapy per week. Our licensed therapists use approaches grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and provide crisis intervention, conflict mediation, life skills coaching, and behavior modification.

Yes. Logos School is accredited by ISACS and approved by DESE (Missouri) and ISBE (Illinois). Students graduate with a fully recognized high school diploma and have access to credit recovery, honors courses, and National Honors Society membership.

Students can enroll privately or through a contractual placement with their home school district. Our admissions process includes interviews, application forms, and a social history review.

Yes. Logos is committed to making our program accessible. Financial aid is available for families who apply privately. For students referred by school districts, placement is typically covered through the IEP process.

Absolutely. Some students transition back to public or private schools after achieving greater stability. Others choose to remain at Logos through graduation. We work with each family to determine what’s best for their student.

Logos follows an 11-month academic calendar divided into six terms, providing flexibility for credit recovery and consistent therapeutic support. We also offer a Summer Intensive Program (SIP) from mid-June to mid-July for students who need additional credit recovery or extended academic and emotional support.
