Welcome to Logos Admissions!

Logos School welcomes students through open enrollment, whether privately or through their home school district. The structured yet flexible environment fosters their needs with compassion and acceptance and cultivates a supportive peer community, empowering students towards graduation or mainstreaming success.

Our team will work with you to determine if our unique academic and therapeutic program will benefit your child.

At Logos School, we offer a structured yet flexible environment designed to support each student's journey towards graduation or mainstreaming. Our unique 11-month academic calendar and year-round therapeutic support ensure that students receive the assistance they need to succeed. Additionally, our Summer Intensive Program (SIP), held from mid-June to mid-July during summer break, offers an opportunity for credit recovery and personalized attention, either as an extension of the academic year or as a stand-alone program.

Your adolescent can enroll at Logos in one of two ways: privately or through contractual agreements through their home school district. If you choose to enroll privately, financial aid options are available to ensure accessibility for all families. For those enrolling through home school districts, placement is determined through the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process, ensuring each student's unique needs are met with care and consideration.

Tours can be initiated and scheduled by families, school officials or mental health professionals. This is a time for us to get to know you and for you to learn more about our program. The tour takes approximately one hour, and families will receive an admissions packet.

What to expect from your visit:

We'll learn more about your student and talk with you about how the academic and therapeutic elements of our program can support their needs with compassion and acceptance.

Social History

During the social history phase of the admissions process, both parents/guardians and the student undergo interview, both individually and seperately. Parents/guardians complete an application and sign release forms. The purpose is to obtain more detailed information about the student academically, socially and behaviorally to determine how our services will benefit them. With signed consent, the Director of Admissions will contact the previous school to obtain official records and may collaborate with other professionals providing services to the adolescent to best determine the student’s needs and abilities. If the student is accepted, this process also helps with class placement and choice of therapist. The collaboration and information exchange foster a holistic approach to meeting the student's educational and personal growth requirements.

Immersion

During the immersion phase of the admissions process, prospective students are encouraged to follow a sample schedule to gain first-hand experience of Logos. This hands-on approach not only allows students to immerse themselves in the enviornment but also provides the admissions team with real-time insights into the student's preferences and requirements. This interactive experience is invaluable in aiding families to make informed decisions about their educational journey. It also enables the admissions team to tailor their guidance and support to meet the specific needs of each student, ensuring a personalized and effictive admissions process.

Admissions Review Team

A review team comprised of administrative staff, classroom instructors and members of the therapeutic team will review every applicant and determine if Logos can meet the needs of a prospective student and their family. Our goal in this process is to ensure that we can provide your family with support and meet your child’s academic and therapeutic needs. This thourough review allows us to tailor our approach to each student's unique needs, ensuring a personalized and effective experience for every student.

Enrollment

When a prospective student is accepted, the family will be contacted by phone and an enrollment date will be determined. If Logos is not a good match, alternative options may be recommended. At any time during the Admissions process families may choose to meet with the Chief Financial Officer to receive information regarding variable tuition. Our variable tuition plan considers the unique financial position of each family to determine the tuition rate. The goal is to provide a transparent and fair process that priortizes the financial well-being of families while also maintaining the quality of education offered at Logos.
