Gifts in Kind

Whether our students go on to be artists, teachers, doctors, or scientists, we know that the challenges they face will demand creative solutions fueled by critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving. Non-cash gifts of property such as computers, books, school supplies, scientific equipment, art materials, and other items are important contributions. A discussion with the Director of Advancement is beneficial to determine which needs donors can fill. The Fair market value of such items is deductible for income tax purposes. A receipt or formal appraisal is required by the law for donations over $5,000.
